Make your Bed
Making your bed in the morning gives a clean start to your day. A clean room signifies a clean mind. Also, you are not tempted to jump back in bed again. It subconsciously tells your mind you are ready to conquer the day.
Warm Water+Lemon
Warm water and lemon in the body cleanse your body from all toxins. It reduces inflammation and detoxifies our body. Citrus fruits like lemons are a great source of vitamin C, an antioxidant that helps to protect our body cells from damaging radicals. Drinking this also helps to aid any digestion problems and maintains gastric juices in our body
Gratitude
Maintain a gratitude journal. List down 5 things you are grateful for each morning and every day. Let the universe know you are thankful to be alive, thankful for this breathing moment you are experiencing. Expressing gratitude only makes us feel happy and fulfilled about our own life. Meditation

Workout
Nothing is as good as having that dose of endorphins in the morning. A good workout session helps you to maintain your body weight and gives a good kick start to the day. It provides you the energy and strength your body needs to tackle down the tasks coming your way. Working out also helps to combat health diseases and provides boost of energy
Affirmations
Affirmations are positive self-talk that everyone must do daily. Saying out loud affirmations before the start of your day gives you the confidence your mind needs. Start your affirmations with “I am….” Is more effective and more convincing to your mind. It provides you with the boost of good vibes you need in your life.
High Five in the mirror
I got to know about this habit from the popular writer ‘Mel Robbins’. Giving yourself a high five in the morning changes your attitude and behavior towards yourself. The basic rule is you never high-five someone with a negative association. You cannot feel down or discouraged when you high-five someone. When you high-five yourself in the mirror, you are giving ourself the encouragement and confidence you need.
Go out in the sun
Early morning exposure to the sun gives you the dose of vitamin D your body needs. Vitamin D helps to maintain strong bones and reduces stress. Soaking yourself in the sun also strengthens your immunity system and reduces the risk of any diseases. It helps you to be more active and regulates your sleep cycle.
No Social Media
Social media helps us to stay connected with the outside world. But you need to detach yourself in the mornings from the outside world. Before the hustle of the day begins our mind does not need what ‘Is Karen drinking her morning coffee!’ Morning time is to comprise our thoughts and give our mind the alone time it needs. It overall improves our mental health in the long run.
