One thing that is evident in life is death. It may appear at any given moment in our life. While some say to live life fully and happily and enjoy every moment. But our minds do not allow us to do that! It becomes difficult to differentiate between what is real and what is not. And while figuring this out, life passes by quickly. Self-love is the act of accepting and loving yourself during difficult moments and cultivating kindness and nurturing well-being and respect for yourself over some time. Accept compliments

It feels nice when someone compliments us for good about us. Maybe our hair, our dress, or anything else. Instead of accepting the compliment, we tend to say or neglect the compliment by giving a reason. “OH, I just washed my hair today” or “I bought this dress yesterday!” The same thing we tend to do when people compliment us on non-materialistic things or about our personality or behaviors. “Oh! I was not like this before!” or something like that. We have to appreciate the person who appreciates us and compliments us.


Express love and gratitude

Life is a beautiful gift. We forget to enjoy every moment of life and indulge our minds with worry and fear.  The good things and moments we experience are unknown to the unfortunate ones. Expressing love and gratitude for every little thing we have will only make us how grateful and fruitful our lives are


Buy yourself your favourite thing

Award yourself with the things you desire from time to time. This is your life and you are the main character of your life. It’s only fair to spend your earnings on yourself and buy the things you like. The joy and happiness it will bring to you after you have purchased it is immeasurable and does not always have to be a gift, it can be a fancy dinner or an exclusive spa, or your favorite activity.

Engage in an activity

Plan out dates with yourself. Doing what you love is the ultimate self-love habit you can cultivate. Take on swimming classes or any other hobby you like. Life is too short to always binge-watch series. Coddling yourself with a hobby you like will only make you feel proud of yourself. Take time out from your busy day to at least give 30mins to your hobby or activity you love


Eliminate Jealousy

You are the utmost important person in your life. Comparing yourself to others will only make you feel bad or unloved about yourself. In such situations, you have to remember you are unique and you are best at what you do. Your confidence will begin to deteriorate when you compare yourself to other or when you are jealous of other. Be mindful of your thoughts in such situations
